Heras Viscount Gate



VERSATILITY Viscount Gates are available in a wide range of heights and widths, and the double version of this gate can span a width of up to 17mtrs. From widths of 5mtrs upwards, the gate is constructed from elements that are quick and easy to replace. This means that in event of damage it is not necessary to replace the whole gate.
FUNCTIONAL RELIABILITY The Heras ground track and runner system, illustrated above, ensure extremely smooth and stable running for years on end.
SPACE SAVING The Viscount Gate is designed to slide along the rear of the fenceline, thereby occupying much less valuable space than hinged gates.
ELECTRICAL OPERATION Full electrical operation of the gate can be provided from the outset, or even years after installation. Further expansion of the modular systems for personal security, vehicle detection and access control can be fitted on construction or added later, and can apply to the control of one single entrance or involve an integrated system for controlling multiple entrances.
PLEASING APPEARANCE Viscount Gates are hot dip galvanised and can be additionally coated in a choice of five colours: White, Black, Grey and two shades of Green.
ROBUST AND DURABLE Heras Gates are manufactured to exacting standards to be tough and strong. Viscount Gates, in particular, incorporate heavy-duty materials and are very much “built to last”. As you would expect from the European market leader, there is no compromising on quality.
HIGH LEVEL OF SECURITY The Gates are designed without any horizontal bracing, which might act as an aid to climbing, and incorporate a special anti run-out safety device which prevents derailing of the gate. The security lock is tamper proof.
CHOICE OF STYLES The Viscount Sliding Gate is available in three different versions; Heracles, Atlas and Olympus. Each style will integrate perfectly with the Heras railing system of the same name (see separate railings section). Viscount Gates look equally distinguished within a chain link, palisade or welded mesh fenceline.
